People see me as a miserable thing, stuck in the world of my own creation. I pity them. I am granted freedom. I am blessed to create and to see what depths of my subconscious have to offer, I am not bound to the physical. I do not care for your world, you have nothing of use.
Game description:
MROI_ is a game about being stuck in your room in a cycle of waking up, just to go back to sleep. The solitude of your dreams has been disturbed. An unknown guest. What is the life you were living beyond your dreams? What life did this mysterious figure live? Explore the dreamlands and figure it out!
What to expect of the game:
- Around 32~ dreams to explore of various sizes and moods!
- First /Third person cameras with full body visibility!
- A story to find about two unwillingly intertwined lives!
- Mentally and physically ill teenagers!
- Paranoia!
- Lot's of junkiness!
Warnings:
- Dark topics and themes.
- Foul language.
- Probably big amounts of bugs and optimization issues.
Credits:
- Dosogy- all visual assets 3D and 2D, story and dialogue writing, some music and sound design, character and environment design.
- SaintPesticide - coding, most of music and sound design, general help in various other fields of development.
We weren't able to properly finish it in time and had to rush a lot of stuff, due to having to deal with education, exams, bronchitis and life in general. This game may or may not be expanded upon in the future.

heartfelt and breathtaking atmosphere. I hear yumme nikki in some of the soundtrack especially the snow dream! really intriguing story, played till I can no longer find the girl : ( this game will resonate in my thoughts for some time. Would really love to see more from this team!

Impressive, one of the best of these dream games I've seen, a bunch of amazing places to see, interesting backstory and characters and I don't know if I've seen everything yet (got to a point where the game closed itself but won't spoil anything) it is really good, I've seen some similar places to these in my dreams too so it also felt relatable somehow, a beautiful game and piece of art.

I'm still not sure I've finished it just yet and seen everything there is to see, but I loved every second of what I've seen so far.
I found it to be surprisingly unnerving in places, oppressive both narratively and atmospherically.
The mad logic dictating the spatial relationships of the dreamscapes had me completely lost trying to stitch together the mental map of how it all connects (I'm sure it does in some coherent way, maybe I should bust my notebook out the next time I play).
This is the strangest thing I've played in a while. Love it, not gonna lie
