Patch 1.2
MROI_ » Devlog
Hello! We finally made a small, but very important patch that really was supposed to be made a long while ago, but here we are..
FIXED:
- Save system now properly functions! The game will automatically save your progress on the dialogues/monologues you've been through like it always was supposed to.
- Fixed a bug where exiting to main menu during a dialogue/monologue would keep it going over the main menu.
- The way the game is packaged. Now instead of having it's internal resources be packaged inside the .exe file they are a separate .pck file (Which is why the download is a .zip archive now). This should fix the false positive some more primitive antiviruses could give when scanning the game, which is a documented issue we didn't knew about previously.
There was an attempt..
We also tried porting Mroi to other renderers to widen the accessibility on different computers, but both OpenGL and DirectX12 seem to have large and hard to fix graphical issues, so for now the game stays on the Vulkan renderer as it was.
There were some minor changes on the included renderer-packages, so the game might run a bit better on some devices.

Got a niche bug report for patch 1.2:
If you talk to Elpis more times than intended and run out of dialogue, you become unable to interact with anything including the main menu buttons.
You can chat an extra amount by jumping off observatory and talking with Elpis mid-air, allowing for multiple chats in observatory; but this prevents save data from being reset after hitting the ending.
